I’m a director, based in London, working across documentary, fiction and virtual reality.
I was first drawn to filmmaking as a way to explore the world around me. Over time, I've realised that has to do with its power to nurture empathy and wider connection.
My films have featured on National Geographic, Atlas Obscura, NOWNESS, The Atlantic and Vimeo Staff Picks, and have screened at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals around the world. My short documentary War and Cheese was longlisted for the 2017 BAFTA Short Film Award.
I’m grateful to have received mentorship through BFI Network x BAFTA Crew, and from Werner Herzog as part of a programme he led in Cuba.
I also run production company Shine a Light Productions, where I work with businesses large and small, charities, and organisations across science, the arts and academia.
