In Uganda, a new sport is driving social change. It is boosting school attendances and breaking down gender expectations, providing a unique space for girls and boys to play side-by-side. The sport is real-life quidditch, and the small rural village of Katwadde is about to host the country’s first- ever national tournament.

This short documentary was produced by Atlas Obscura. It premiered at DOC NYC 2023 and is scheduled for online release in Summer 2024.
